Katrina blasted through the screen via Starstruck, the first ever reality-based talent search targeting potential talented teenagers in the Philippines. It was hailed by critics as the most phenomenal show of 2003, the same year Katrina Hallili became known and she’s one of the contestants of the first batch of Starstruck. Unfortunately for her, she didn’t made it to the finals, was eliminated December, 19, 2003, but eventually, it was a blessing in disguise because all eyes are on her and she became an instant hit when she played antagonist on both soap operas entitled Majika and Marimar.

It seems that nothing can stop this young beautiful Filipina lass from climbing to the top. After Marimar, she played protagonist roles in the movie “One Night Only” and another soap opera entitled “Magdusa Ka” or translated in English as “You Will Suffer”. Now, she has just finished shooting a new movie called “Sundo” and it’s going to be a new challenge for her for it’s a different genre and this time it’s going to be a horror film.

And in-between and around and about, before, during and after, she was voted as FHM Philippines’ sexiest woman for the year 2006 and again bagged the same title for next year. She was the first StarStruck contestant to top the FHM Philippines’ 100 Sexiest list and the only Filipina celebrity to have won the title twice in a row. She even became a 3-time FHM cover girl for the Philippines issue with more or less 120 thousand plus votes and she placed 2nd in 2008 next to another sexy Filipina actress and commercial model Marian Rivera.

But her success didn’t stop there. She also has her own business promoting her original line of lingerie called Playmates!
